I think that there is tremendous political pressure to take this "all the way". The rhetoric coming out of Israel is the need to not only stop the missles but to also stop any future of missles coming out of Gaza. While I have no idea if this goal is at all possible I do think Israel will not bow to international pressure for a cease fire. While you say Israel cannot "win" I certainly hold out hope that they can. I call winning the elimination of Hamas leadership in favor of Fatah. Your thoughts?
